More Details About This Event: The Annoyance presents “The Best Night of Improv in Chicago” -- four fantastically funny groups filled with veterans of the Annoyance, Second City, Steppenwolf and other great theatres.
The night kicks off with “Fishnuts,” a wild, balls-out ride with Chicago veterans Beau Golwitzer, Jim Schiedhauer, Brian Wilson and Emily Wilson. Directly following “Fishnuts,” the Annoyance is proud to welcome back the improv "supergroup” Chicagoland. The new lineup will include Sue Gillan, Noah Gregoropolous, Paul Grondy, T.J. Jagodowski (star of TJ & Dave, and many TV and film roles) and Sue Salvi. After Chicagoland is Bad Touch: Unsavory Improv. This show features Annoyance ensemble members and Chicago comedy scene veterans Rebecca Sohn, Rich Sohn and Mark Sutton. They'll take you on a ride of smart, dirty and hilariously fast-paced improv. The show was directed by Annoyance founding member and Chicago Improv Festival artistic director Mark Sutton. Rounding off the night is The Gambino Crew, a three-person improv show made up of Vanessa Bayer, Barry Hite and Ed Illades. The smart play will interweave explorations in prejudices, obsessions and opinions. Chicago improv veteran T.J. Jagodowski directs the show. |
