The End of America Perform Live With Mark Rose and Brother George
Check out three great independent music acts at City Winery. Brooklyn based folk band The End of America take inspiration from Jack Kerouac and his classic On the Road, and with their new album Shakey, they pay tribute to Neil Young. The band's three-part harmonies and organic musical arrangements caught the ear of Beck Hansen, and he invited them to perform at the release of his Song Reader sheet music album in February. Mark Rose once fronted the indie/emo band Spitalfield who spent 10 years on the road performing with acts including Fall Out Boy, The Early November and Minus the Bear. Now Rose has embarked on a solo career using his skills as a singer and songwriter. Local indie rock band Brother George open the show.
