Chicago is ordinarily such a picturesque city that it becomes truly extraordinary when it's dressed up with holiday lights. This unique holiday experience combines a fun and informative walking tour of the city's history with an entertaining bus tour showcasing Chicago's festival of lights. The walking portion of the three-and-a-half-hour guided tour takes place from the comfort of part of Chicago's Pedway, the city's six-mile indoor heated walkway. After wrapping up the walk at Macy's legendary Walnut Room, you'll board a bus for the last hour of the tour, visiting State Street, the Daley Plaza Christmas Tree, "Christkindlmarket," the Palmer House Hilton, the Water Tower and the heralded Drake Hotel. The bus then traverses the world-famous Magnificent Mile on its way back to the East Wacker starting location. All tours include a holiday trivia contest and ugly Christmas sweater competition, with prizes. Learn More

Fascinating neighborhood - a full-fledged Mexican-American community complete with Polish and Czech influence. Joyce knows this area very well and has planned a great way to see highlights easily. There are some neat restaurants and bakeries sprinkled around.
This tour begins at the 18th Street Pink Line El Station at 1710 W. 18th Street and ends at the National Museum of Mexican Art at 1852 W. 19th Street. Participants will cover approximately 2.5 miles at a leisurely pace.
Please note that tour guide gratuity is not included in the tour price, so if you enjoy your tour, tips are very much appreciated.
