Rained out halfway through...everyone stayed for the food which was already pre-paid.

I enjoyed the event. The seating was adequate but umbrellas on the tables would of helped protect from the sun. There could have been a bigger variety of food, especially desserts. A soft serve ice cream machine would have been nice.All in all it was a good event and the air show was fantastic!

First off the Air show is awesome. Kudos to the City of Chicago on that one. My comments are just about the food at the event. First off Pepsi products only - yuck!. There was no Ice tea or lemonade - come on a summer Sunday afternoon. All the food was outdoors which created many problems:
1)sternos blew out and food was ice cold do to winds off lake
2)Buns were just left out so they dried out
3) Food items ran out and were not replaced

The first two items could have been avoided if anyone was paying attention or the food was inside the Pavillion

It was a wonderful day for the family. The food was excellent. Only wished that some of the stunt pilots would have come by Navy Pier as everything was so very far away.
