Rusalka, a water sprite, falls in love with a human prince and strikes an impossible bargain to enter his world. But this is no Disney mermaid. Dark consequences flood Dvorák's moonlit fairy tale, along with music of acute longing, hope and disillusionment. Rusalka's "Song to the Moon" might just break your heart. With memorable Lyric productions such as Elektra, Manon, Julius Caesar and Billy Budd under his belt, you can expect another winner from director Sir David McVicar. Sung in Czech with projected English texts. Learn More

I am a regular at the opera so being onstage was thrilling. It was quite entertaining. I would have liked a bit more operatic singing. It was witty. Molly was my favorite. I enjoyed hearing Bernard sing and wished he had sung more.
Table service for all seats begins 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the show.
