Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents a variety show like no other in The Midnight City, an amalgamation of storytelling, videography and visual art from notorious local artist and urban provocateur Tony Fitzpatrick and his friend and Chicago Cubs devotee Stan Klein. Drawing from real-life conversations, the imposing Irishman and his slighter, shyer Jewish friend explore hard truths, personal anecdotes and current events as they orbit around major life events including Fitzpatrick's pending move to New Orleans to draw birds and Klein's job working for his favorite baseball team. Peppered with original works by video artist Kristin Reeves, The Midnight City is an utterly singular theatrical experience built on a most unlikely friendship. Learn More

This show is not recommended for ages 15 and younger.
