We never could find the open gate to the parking garage mentioned on the website but there was plenty of free parking on Halsted, just south of Fullerton.

Park for free at the parking garage across from the old children's memorial hospital. You pull in at a traffic light. Nice neighborhood, nice theater, restaurants are just a couple of doors down.
