We dined at Bakersfield. We explained that we had theater tickets and they were great to get us seated, fed, and out on time for the show.

The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. The set was striking in authenticity. The actors were both natural and powerful in their performances. All in all, it was a superb experience.

Quotes & Highlights

“I’ll venture to say that you’ve never seen [King] in quite this altogether human light, as portrayed — dare I say wholly embodied — by Gavin Lawrence … it’s one of the best productions we’ll see here in Cincinnati this theater season.” —CityBeat
“Working in designer Brian C. Mehring’s spot-on re-creation of the real Lorraine Motel room, director D. Lynn Meyers stages this the way a composer might write an extended duet. The harmony between the two characters is rarely obvious, but it is always there.” —Cincinnati Enquirer
