Long before ABC's Scandal and Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots there was King David's palace, a royal stronghold seething with adultery, murder, cover-ups and sons ready to repeat the sins of their fathers. A spiritual sequel to 2012's Up on the Roof: The Story of Bathsheeba and King David, Behind Closed Doors: The Story of King David and His Son Absalom relates the lessons that God taught King David through the rebellion of his son, Absalom. A story of love, loss, repentance and the unbreakable bond between a father and his son, the play is presented by Evangel Cathedral, whose mission is to present a visible demonstration of the love of God to the community, the marketplace and the world. This riveting show stars Jarmel Evans, lead songwriter, performer and producer of contemporary worship band Worship Forever. Learn More

The show was great. Good voices, good music, good band. The food was exceptional & we all enjoyed it. A friend atteneded w/us who was not a fan of Toby's Columbia 7 preferred Toby's Balt., but revised his opinion & was pleased w/everything. All in all a good deal. Seats were great too.
A nightclub dancer … A smooth talking lawyer … And a cell block of sin. It would be a crime to miss it! Unforgettable singing and dancing.
