Based on the novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum and the 1939 MGM film classic, this beloved story never fails to sweep audiences away, from the moment the tornado twists through rural Kansas carrying Dorothy and Toto "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." They find themselves on the Yellow Brick Road, meeting new friends like the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow, and embarking on adventures in Munchkin Land, the Haunted Forest and the Emerald City. The show features classic songs like "Over the Rainbow," "Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead" and "If I Only Had a Brain," and also includes a buffet meal with a make-your-own sundae area, along with a full cash bar.

Full Price:
$51.00
Our Price:
$25.50

In the Heights took Broadway to a place it had never been before: north of Manhattan's 155th Street. Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, In the Heights tells the story of New York's Washington Heights neighborhood. Predominantly Dominican, "the Heights" is a place of bodegas and best friends -- where there's gabbing on the stoop and graffiti on the walls. To the delight of critics and audiences alike, In the Heights captured the hopes and hustle of this tight-knit community with authenticity and joy -- not to mention the infectious rhythms of hip-hop, Broadway tunes and Latin music. An amazing cast, a gripping story and some of the best dancing anywhere transforms this quintessential NYC neighborhood into a celebration of close communities everywhere. Experience this thrilling dramatization of urban life as the residents chase their dreams in a world that beckons with possibilities. Learn More

What a fun night with my teenage daughter! The show was very engaging; we're already talking about seeing another one.

Each performance I have attended at Toby's has been exceptional - the production is unique and the service is wonderful. I have taken my children (6 and 7) 2x's now, and my only recommendation for shows that would appeal to a younger audience would be to include items in the buffet geared to a younger audience. The food is very tasty, but if you have a picky little one, the options are limited. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies and the play did not disapoint. I felt like I was back in 1939 on the set with Dorothy and her friends. The singing and staging were spectacular. My only regret is that the show is ending this weekend and I won't be able to see it again.

The Show was great, but I only gaveit 3 stars b/c of the service. The tables are numbered, so you have to go to the buffet when your number is called, and only then. We were #63 of 65 tables. You can go for salad 1st while you wait. By the time we were seated, our salad section had closed, so we had to hurry over to the other section. By the time we were able to go to the buffet, the other tables were getting 2nd helpings, so we were rushed. We spent most the show with dirty dishes on our table, and it was wet from the beverages, so it was not a comfortable situation. The coffee was cold and bitter. The food was OK, but as I mentioned, we were rushed, so the dining experience was not not worth it.
The show itself was funny and good. We went with 2 kids- ages 6 and 9 and they both enjoyed the show and were well entertained. I would have preferred to go out to dinner and another restaurant and not eaten at Toby's. I would see the show again, but won't eat there again, unless I can guarantee that I had a better table.
