Eighties pop-rock icons Huey Lewis and the News and British raspy-voiced singer Joe Cocker bring their timeless sounds to 103.7's Summerfest at Sleep Train Pavilion. Radio favorites since the early '80s, Huey Lewis and the News first made it big with hits like "I Want a New Drug," "The Heart of Rock & Roll" and "If This Is It." Then "The Power of Love," featured in the 1985 movie Back to the Future, made them into mega-stars, and the group went on to win two Grammy Awards. The band remains a live concert favorite, performing a diverse show that incorporates their hits with elements of rock, pop, jazz, R&B and soul. The group's most recent album, Soulsville, features their tribute to the artists and music of the legendary Stax Records. British singer Joe Cocker has blended pop, rock, and soul for four decades. His hits have ranged from his famous cover of the Beatles' "A Little Help From My Friends" to the romantic ballads "You Are So Beautiful" and "Up Where We Belong." It's a party under the stars as these two great acts bring back the best sounds of the '60s, '70s and '80s.
