You can expect a lot of laughs this year's Lamb's Players' Festival of Christmas show, when a woman's plan to film a musical Christmas card goes hilariously awry. In Catch a Falling Star, Ella Eden has located the remote miner's cabin where her father spent one magical Christmas, and now she's bringing in a band to put together the ultimate Christmas card on location. With the special setting, under a gorgeous canopy of stars, it's going to be the perfect gift. Too bad her kids are running wild, neither the nanny nor the lead singer have shown up and cell phone reception is nonexistent. As things get more chaotic, they also become ever more comical, but the magic and music of Christmas will triumph in the end. Learn More

Lovely staging of a classic! The ensemble players were a hoot to watch as they all changed characters several times. The entire cast was great, very believable and we even learned something - there is NO BALLOON in the original Jules Verne book! So don't expect a balloon, but some other set surprises are in store - VERY well done!
Laura Eason’s adaptation was commissioned and first produced at Chicago’s Lookingglass Theatre in 2008.
Featuring Lance Arthur Smith as Fogg and Bryan Barbarin as Passepartout, with Jesse Abeel, Kaja Dunn, Caitie Grady, Jon Lorenz, Brian Rickle and John Rosen
