Make no mistake- I am a Cinderella fan. I attended on 4/24/10 with my own Cinderella to my side. The cast has a few kinks I am sure they will work-out soon. My hope is that the director pays closer attention to details; spot lighting, mic levels for featured singing, sound affects, and prop back-lighting. Three stars from me. Back to positives- I will see it again before the run ends- make no mistake of that. You should not miss it either- see you there. Go and see this fantastic story unfold before your eyes & ears!Written on Apr 27 2010

The play was in a very casual environment with tables and chairs. The performance was top notch and their voices and singing was excellent. A great place to take the kids, too.Written on Apr 26 2010
Snacks available before the show and at the break. It was wonderful.

More Information About Cinderella
Description
Starring Anya Tuerk as Cinderella and Frank Remiatte as Prince Charming Directed by Thomas Fitzpatrick
Coronado Playhouse presents the classic magical fairy tale, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, known and loved for generations. With hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance, the musical was originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium at the time.
Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true, as was a second remake in 1997 starring Brandy and Whitney Houston.
This classic rags-to-riches story, complete with the evil stepmother and stepsisters, a handsome prince, the royal king and queen and a fairy godmother, is the ultimate heartwarming tale of good triumphing over evil.
As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike will soar when the slipper fits.
