The feuding Futrelle Sisters put the "fun" in dysfunction in Dearly Beloved, the hilarious and heart-warming production at Coronado Playhouse. The rumor mill in Fayro, TX, has been working overtime from the moment the Sisters started planning the "wedding of the century." No surprise there -- the sisters have been Town Topic No. 1 since the break-up of their almost-famous gospel singing group, The Sermonettes. But now caught up in a Texas twister of gossip, God and gunfire, they desperately attempt to pull off the Gone with the Wind-themed nuptials ... even as the bride goes missing. Gary Cohen directs this southern-fried comedy written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. Learn More

The performances by the main characters was wonderful, comparable to the Hollywood film production of "Inherit the Wind". The sets are a bit underwhelming, though. However, I would definitely recommend this production as one not to be missed. A memorable production!
