This is my first negative review, but we had to leave at intermission....we just could not sit and listen to the high pitched attempts at British accents and mannerisms. It was so distracting and annoying that the story was lost. I watched others react to the titter/laugh offered frequently by the gardener after every little delivery of lines. There were grimaces other than mine.Written on May 11 2009
I hope this production is just suffering from early day wrinkles needing to be ironed out. It has such potential. The seating was a mixed bag. It is nice to have the table there so you can enjoy a drink during the performance, but in order to see the production, the two people at each table who had their backs to the stage, had to move their chairs and snug in close to adjoining tables in order to see. I had to constantly change my position in order to see past the people in the chairs between me and the stage.
Again, this is the first negative review I have given, but I felt my money on these tickets was misspent.

It was slow going at the beginning, but then the plot developed. I thought it was a bit long.Written on Apr 20 2009

The seating in the theatre is somewhat unusual because it is arranged by small tables with 4 chairs per table. It was hard to see the stage and performers. We had the worst seats which were in the back row at the very end next to the concession stand. The actors were quite good but there was a wedding reception with a band across the hall and the music could be heard in the theatre which is part of a very large building complex.Written on Apr 20 2009
