With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, the compelling true story of Eva Perón comes to vivid life through stunning showstoppers like "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina," "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" and "High Flying Adored." Evita follows the path of the small-town peasant girl as she uses her considerable smarts and charisma to rise from the slums of Argentina to President Juan Perón's side as first lady, becoming one of South America's most powerful women. Though she was much beloved by her people as the voice of the poor, her inevitable downfall came through her unwavering ambition and a devastating illness, making her one of history's most tragic and dramatic figures. Direct from Broadway and making its first national tour, this stunning production is directed by Tony nominee Michael Grandage and choreographed by Tony winner Rob Ashford. Learn More

I WAS SO AWED BY BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL, THAT I WENT TO HIS ONE MAN SHOW AT LINCOLN CENTER ON A RECENT TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY. THIS MAN HAD ME ABSOLUTELY SPELLBOUND. I VISITED HIM IN HIS DRESSING ROOM AFTER THE CONCERT. HE IS AS NICE OFF STAGE AND HE IS ON STAGE.
I WILL FOLLOW THIS MAN IN CONCERT WHEREVER HE GOES.
Quotes & Highlights

When two of Broadway's biggest talents perform together for the very first time, it promises to be an evening of unrivaled star power and beautiful music. You would expect a concert of this caliber to only happen in New York City, but we are fortunate to have such an illustrious combination right here in Southern California.
The legendary Barbara Cook has delighted audiences for more than 50 years and continues to thrive as a star of the highest order. She is today's greatest interpreter of musical theatre songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Sondheim. Her triumphs include Oklahoma!, Carousel, the Music Man, and She Loves Me.
For this very special concert, she is joined by Broadway's favorite leading man, the Tony-winning star of Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime, and Man of La Mancha, Brian Stokes Mitchell.
Don't miss out as these two phenomenal talents share the stage for the very first time.
