I enjoyed the Huey Lewis show. The Pacific Amphitheatre is an enjoyable venue to see a show in. Our seats were in Section 8, upper area on the right side. I would have preferred to sit closer to the center, but it was okay. You could see all of the artists on stage. My only gripe is that there were panels blocking the big screens where we were sitting, so we couldn't see a lot of the close ups of the artists.Written on Aug 02 2009

Great. Huey & the News was the first concert I ever went to, back in 1986. They were at the top of their game then and have really matured over the years. Even though they are missing many of the original members, they are always backed by stellar musicians, steeped in blues and jazz. So, you always get a great mix of the expected Huey hits, mixed in with great old school blues/jazz/rock fusion. They never disappoint and certainly lived up to their reputation this time!Written on Aug 02 2009

Rockin' show! Huey's backed up by an excellent group of musicians who put out the most infectious blues rock to get the crowd going. They came back and did a generous encore. Surprise of the evening were the a cappella selections. OC Fair is a great venue, too. All in all, an outstanding experience.Written on Jul 31 2009

Had a great time! Huey and his band lived up to expectations! Perfect night for an outdoor concert, as well. And then, you can't beat getting into the fair for free, either. Not a bad seat in the house...Written on Jul 31 2009
