Just "OK". Hadn't been to this particular theater before, liked the fact that it was so small, everyone had a good seat (I had a great seat, front row). There were 4 people in this production, plus a live band (is it called a "band" if they just...continued

This was a 5 star performance in a charming small theater! The performers' singing and the playing from the 3 person band conveyed the Jacques Brel persona perfectly! The set matched the mood and was well executed. The Costa Mesa Playhouse,...continued

Fantastic experience. The music was wonderful and the 4 performers were excellent. We had front row seats, which added to the experience. A nice, small, very comfortable venue. Highly recommend.

Very entertaining and unusual! Not your "normal" performance, but we all enjoyed it very much. And - the little theater in COsta Mesa is delightful! It has an intimate, cosy feeling, which we all enjoyed. There's not a bag seat in the...continued

Unusual play well done. True musical,no talking and singing was excellent. Not for young children. Glad I went. Theater comfortable, good views of stage.

Cleverly staged production a little uneven in the first act when I got the feeling the mikes were not adjusted properly. Jacques Brel's songs left the audience so moved that applause was nearly always delayed while we "came back" emotionally.

I enjoyed the show tremendously - the 4 actors were all excellent and the music delivery by the pianist, other instruments and conductor made the show complete. The venue was nice and parking was very easy. ENJOY

A wonderful show. Love this small theater with great heart. The performers were so full of energy and spirit, the show seemed to build-getting more fun with every sung note and dance step. Can't wait to see more shows at this local venue.

I think the show was very good. Rarely performed, JB... is passionate and devastating and silly, and the cast has to be first-rate and totally committed to every line of music. We thought that each cast member owned each of these songs. 3 kind...continued

Well done and fun to watch and listen. The one song, Ne Me Quitte Pas, sung in French and accompanied on the piano by the singer, made it all a Brel experience.

This is Cabaret at its purest, and a solid production. The space is intimate and quite appropriate for the style of the show. As a four person show, the expert cast solos, acts as back up, and act as well as they sing. This is definitely a...continued

Great performance.
Excellent singers and accompanying musicians. Loved the choreography!
The one song in French was not quite loud enough, sang at the piano rather backstage.
I think the translations of the chansons are very good, though in...continued

I want to thank everyone who put on this fantastic show! I brought three friends who had never heard of Jacques Brel and they all left the theatre as new fans.
The four singers kept getting more warmed up and by the second act the show reached...continued
