This is the third time I've seen the amazing Spring Awakening (I've seen the closing cast on Broadway, and this tour, twice). This show NEVER ceases to amaze, intrigue, grip, and effect me. Spring Awakening deals with really tough topics like...continued

loved the show. best musical I've seen since "Rent". First musical soundtrack I've wanted to buy since "A Chorus Line" in 1977. Liked the staging and music, sometimes it was hard to hear the words.

Not your average musical, in the spirit of RENT and Chorus Line - Spring Awakenings has you leaving the theater with a discussion of the subject matter presented in your face. Call it taboo, call it conservative, only a small percentage of folks...continued

Let me start off by saying that this show is in my Pantheon of Favorite Musicals and this performance would be my fourth time this show has graced my ear canals. I simply adore the music in this show and that music has lived with me since I had...continued

I'm actually rating this event a 2.5. I had a vague idea of what the story was about (set in 1800's to a rock musical with a sexual/coming of age theme), so I wasn't so shocked by the whole thing. Though the seats were good for what we paid...continued

I attended with 2 girlfriends of mine last night (11/18) and enjoyed the performance tremendously. Very talented performers...and musicians, who are also on stage. Very creative tale expressed uniquely but demonstrates that some life experiences...continued

Spring Awakening was outstanding. The cast were great and the voices were inspiring and amazing. The plot and the messages of the musical were definitely truthful and it was a great story. I loved the music the best. It was definitely tastefully...continued

Great job. For a touring cast, they were excellant. I thought their diction was excellant as well. Great musical. Too bad it is no longer playing in N.Y. due to the economy. It deserves to play as long as Rent did as it has such as strong...continued

I was very optimistic about ‘Spring Awakening’ with its catchy rock hooks listening to its CD weeks before this performance. However, by the second act I was bored to distraction by the half-dozen weak story-lines exploring teenage angst. The...continued

I have to agree with the review in the paper the following morning............lots of sex and not much story. The music was performed well, and melodies were beautiful, but there really wasn't any one song that I really, truly fell in love with....continued

I was somewhat disappointed by the play. I like how there were many taboos exposed to the audience. The child abuse, suicide, sexual awaking (rape hum), etc. I found the play to be somewhat slow to introduce this taboos and left many loose ends by...continued

absorbing high energy show - great venue, great seats, involved audience, much younger than normal for the theater

Quite provacative. "Spring Awakening" really touched on tough issues. The music is wonderful. A "must-see" by all means!

Second time I have seen it! Love the concept - great show - great players - great music! Too bad the people in the OC just dont seem to get a good musical....LA & NY Crowds just "get it"!!! Either way my friend & I had an absolute blast!!

The production was wonderful, from the acting to the singing to the dancing. The actors' characterizations were very good and maintained an "authenticity" of that kept us totally the involved.

As usual, the theater is problematic: the sound...continued

This is an amazing cast - very strong male and female leads, amazing band and supporting cast.
As strong as the Broadway originals!
Great seats - tier 3, but great visibility.
I love Goldstar!

Very different - not what I was expecting at all. I was disappointed. Not a musical I would recommend to anyone.

Very simple yet effective set design. Lighting was fabulous and intense! Cast sang very well. It's a Mature Audience show, that's for sure. Not for children.
Storyline is very intense. Keep in mind this is a musical with no "technical" dancing....continued
