The worldwide phenomenon Fifty Shades of Grey has captivated audiences across the globe. So, clearly the time has come for a parody. 50 Shades! The Musical -- The Original Parody is a hilarious, sexy romp featuring dance numbers, songs and a live on-stage band ready to bring the steamy words to vivid life. A hit in Chicago, New York and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the show now makes its Los Angeles premiere. 50 Shades! makes for an unexpectedly funny roller coaster ride through the book, featuring original songs like "They Get Nasty" and "There's a Hole Inside of Me." You won't want to miss this laugh-out-loud mix of music, comedy and sexual shenanigans. Opt for the "Red Room Experience" offer for access to the VIP Red Room after the show, which includes a cast meet-and-greet, a drink ticket and a collectible merchandise tie. Learn More

Very good play. Highly recommended!! Don't be put of by the fact it is 3 hours long.It is well worth it and there is not a bad seat in the theatre. Even if you do not know the history of Zimbabwe, there is enough info available in the lobby to get you up to date. It is not only about the history of Southern Africa but it also explains why it is the way it is today.
Very compelling story and a real tour de force for the actors. Excellent!!
I also loved the fact that some lines are in Shona language.

So grateful I chose to see this play! I haven't been that moved and inspired in a while at the theatre. Danai Gurira is a poet. She definitely has a REASON to write and it comes through brilliantly - And the acting is absolutely superb.
