Work that humbug out with some holiday laughs! Second City alums and veteran Comedy Central writers Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort have dreamed up this new twisted version of A Christmas Carol, infused with hilarious improv sketches and zany characters written specifically for its cast of L.A.-based Second City alumni. Scrooge, Tiny Tim, three ridiculous ghosts and a cast of The Second City's funniest alums take the Kirk Douglas stage by storm, as wicked satire, daring improv and a host of guest celebs run rampant throughout the Victorian streets. First I must say the Kirk Douglas Theater is beautiful!! Parking is around the corner though most people parked across the street at the Chase bank parking lot( staff did say tough they never seen it, cars may be towed..so park with caution) The staff was very friendly & provided audience activities BEFORE the Play!! Fun!
Goldstar provided great seats!
The play was Great! I enjoyed the creativity and intensity of the production,The Actors were Excellent..And the Actors portraying the Boxers...sigh...GUY CANDY!!
Seriously, a well done production..No intermission 90 minutes of entertainment!
Recommended for ages 13 and up.
