Work that humbug out with some holiday laughs! Second City alums and veteran Comedy Central writers Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort have dreamed up this new twisted version of A Christmas Carol, infused with hilarious improv sketches and zany characters written specifically for its cast of L.A.-based Second City alumni. Scrooge, Tiny Tim, three ridiculous ghosts and a cast of The Second City's funniest alums take the Kirk Douglas stage by storm, as wicked satire, daring improv and a host of guest celebs run rampant throughout the Victorian streets. Very glad we saw this one. Started out like most one-person shows, which is not very exciting. But, quickly it became more - more energy, more depth and breadth. Very worthwhile experience. Great performer/writer. Nice venue, too - no bad seats.
