One of the hottest recent tickets on Broadway and a 2012 Tony nominee for Best Play, Other Desert Cities now comes to Dallas for its Southwest premiere. This latest play from Pulitzer Prize finalist Jon Robin Baitz is a smart drama filled with witty repartee that both dazzles and decimates. Brooke Wyeth returns to her politically conservative parents' glamorous Palm Springs home to spend the holidays with them. But the warm desert air turns chilly when news of her upcoming memoir threatens to revive the most painful chapter of the family's history. Perception and reality battle love and mercy as old family wounds are re-opened, childhood memories are tested, and the Wyeth clan learns that some secrets can't stay buried forever. Full of deeply felt moments, Other Desert Cities brings dysfunctional family drama to new heights. The New York Times called it "the best new play on Broadway," and audiences everywhere are finding it as entertaining as it is insightful. Learn More

The charater of the "Art Dealer/Manager" carried the show. The actor for this charater really made the show. I felt the play was slow evolving and I sometimes felt like "ok, lets get to the next point". The seating in the theater was comfortable with cushioned seats and the staff was friendly. The facility was clean and well kept to include the bathrooms. The theater is hinded back among other buildings with a nice court yard with seating while you wait for the doors to open. I really enjoy the theater/location more than the play. Just glad and thankful that we still have many option for plays in the Dallas area.
