After debuting to ecstatic reviews on Broadway (and earning three Tony nods), a brand new, "fully loaded" production of Hands On A Hardbody rolls into Dallas. Based on an award-winning documentary film, with a story by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright and music co-written by Phish frontman Trey Anastasio, this gripping new musical centers on an endurance competition that challenges 10 Texans to see who can keep his or her hand on a new pickup truck the longest. The winner gets the truck -- and a piece of the American Dream. Learn More

Fast paced and witty. Very entertaining! Maybe I learned a few things? I can't speak for the historical accuracy, but I went in knowing nothing at all about Andrew Jackson, and now I have an impression of the man and the political issues of his time.
Nits to pick? The sound could have been a little better. Although I could follow the dialogue and vocals, with so much going on, I sometimes had to struggle to understand what was being said. On the other hand, it would have been fun to hear that Stratocaster played a little louder!
