Set in a local hair salon, Shear Madness is a rollicking whodunit with you, the audience, as a central character. When the salon's landlady is murdered at the outset, a laugh-a-minute blend of mystery and improvisational theater ensues, with audience members called upon to make sense of the clues, question the actors and, ultimately, solve the crime. This interactive global phenomenon's spontaneous humor and frenzied energy have kept it on stage at Boston's Charles Playhouse for more than 35 years. Now one of the world's longest running non-musical plays comes to Dallas. Learn More

This was the first time I saw this show, and it was great! There were a lot of audience members that had seen it in previous years, and I can see why people would want to see it again. It had heart, great music, and lots of laughs. All of the actors were gifted with presence and incredible vocals. I would definitely see it again.

It’s a hugely entertaining show that Theatre Three revives every year around Valentine’s Day — and it sells out! It’s the perfect revue of courtship and marriage that has earned its place as a signature piece by Theatre Three, featuring gifted sketch comedy players who sing and dance their way through all the phases of romance and marriage.
