I've been going to these around the nation for over 25 years now and the Dallas one is VERY large and always impresses.

Description

Now in its 44th year, this renowned exhibit of gems and jewelry has grown to nearly 100 shows annually in more than 35 markets nationwide. This show features hundreds of exhibitors from around the globe, including China, India, Africa, Australia, Russia, the American Southwest and more. Colorful displays feature rare and exotic gems, unusual custom-designed pieces and special “theme” jewelry of interest to hobbyists. Several of the shows have featured exhibits of special interest, such as jewelry displays of famous movie stars and well-known celebrities, among other interesting and unusual displays.

Free jewelry cleaning and tips on proper maintenance and storage are available.

In 1967, Herbert A. Duke, Sr., founded the first commercial gem and jewelry show to sell directly to the public. From these humble beginnings, the International Gem & Jewelry Shows were created. With nearly 100 shows yearly in more than 35 major U.S. cities, they now produce the largest exhibition of gems, minerals and jewelry in the world. More than half a million people pass through this world famous bazaar each year.
