Members Who Went Said:We saw six species of sea life—an elephant seal, sea lions, three types of dolphins (including a pod of mothers swimming with their calfs), and even a Minke whale. The boat handles like a dream—fast and smooth—and the captain gets you "up close and personal" with the animals. The 2-hour time frame is perfect—not too short and not too long. I'd highly recommend it.
Cindy Griff Happy User of Goldstar Events Lucky lucky us! We knew it was toward the end of whale watching season and took a chance. Two whales - GIANTs of the sea; up close and a beautiful sight. They stayed hanging around and gave us a show. Before that on our way to look for the whales we came across a large pod of Dolphin- turns out it was a 'nursery' with many females and babies! That was fantastic! Thanks for a great show!
D. Patrick Do not sit in the back as the diesel fumes are overwhelming... There were many people that stood in the front (not just kids; adults too) and monopolized the best views for nearly two hours. The Captain tried to turn the boat so others could see various things, but some of the same people then raced over and dove in front yet again. I would advise the crew to please remind people to be courteous and not "hog" the best views throughout. I don't know if it would work, but it might be worth a try! |
