Over the course of nearly 40 years, George Vass has displayed his violin virtuosity across three continents, receiving accolades for his incredible interpretations of the classics and unique style of play that he's modeled on the sound of the human voice. Vass will be joined on piano by Laura Gordy, a celebrated performer of both contemporary and classical music. In the intimate setting of the Marcus Jewish Community Center, this special performance will find Vass and Gordy playing the music of Bloch, Beethoven and Brahms. Learn More

It is an absolute PLEASURE to write this review. I was amazed at the quality of the production, the skill of the singers and actors and the really beautiful facility of the Jewish Community Center. My two daughters (9 and 11) could not get enough and even my husband thought it was fantastic! The story is a classic and this group of actors did a superb job in their roles and the set, lighting and music excelled. It was well beyond my level of expectation and I will absolutely go back for every possible production. My children even want to participate in their next showing of Seussical... Not sure if we are allowed or not as we are not Jewish. Despite having lived in the Dunwoody area for 25+ years, I had never been inside the JCC... it is gorgeous. A facility to be proud of, volunteer workers to be praised for their kindness and helpful nature and a production that will rival the Fox Theater! Well done. Thanks to Goldstar for promoting this as I would not have know about it otherwise.
