Fun British Farce No Sex Please, We're British Comes to Seattle
- Full Price:
- $23.00
- Our Price:
- $11.50
In this high-energy, bawdy British farce that ran on the West End for years, an assistant manager at a bank and his young bride are surprised when Swedish pornography and call-girls mistakenly end up on their doorstep. The couple frantically scrambles to hide the goods from his visiting mother, his boss, a drowsy bank inspector, and a tipsy police superintendent. With the inept help of a friend who is in way over his head, they spin a wild and deliciously fun web of mistaken identities, physical mishaps and hilarious complications in an attempt to set everything right. Great show. Cast was excellent. The set was clean and simple. The theatre is small enough (200 seats?) so that there isn't a bad seat in the house. Staff was courteous and bathrooms were clean. A perfect evening.Written on Feb 24 2012

The Driftwood Players did a great job! There were a few line blunders, but the cast handled them with ease. The play was totally enjoyable. The casting was, for the most part, right on. A couple characters didn't quite ring true, but didn't stifle our enjoyment at all. Col. Blake was cast right on. Ho Jon was very true to his character. For a community theatre, overall great job.Written on Feb 17 2012
