They did an excellent job with attention to details and building up the excitement. All characters were fun and friendly and made the experience great.

Went in a goup of 5- it's definitely better to go in a bigger group- we had fun going back and forth who would go first and who would be at the end. Each segment of it got better as we went through. Especially enjoyed the "elevator" and the maze.

I have gone to this haunted house twice now. (once last yaer and once this year) It was pretty similiar each year. It didn't seem as scary just more fun this year. The people working in the houses/mazes could have been a lot more enthusiastic.. they werent very scary however they did have a live band playing inside one house which I thought was pretty cool. It was a fun time. I dont know if I will come back next year though.

The weather wasn't the best, but being rainy and windy added to the fun. The actors were great. The venue was a bit difficult to find since the windy had blown the signs down.

Very good string of haunted houses overall. Much different than the usual blandness, there was like a whole storyline involved. And the actors were more interactive, thus making it a bit more realistic...

We all enjoyed it. And thought the Super RIP tickets were worth the price. The actors were very good at giving us the "scare" we wanted. And we LOVED the cool lighted tunnel. Thought the strobe room exposure was too long. Over all I would do this again. And have recommended it to my friends. The only negatives were that the police wouldn't let us into the VIP parking that was included w/the tickets. We were told it was full. It wasn't. Apparently they weren't told of the arrangement w/the parking. Also,it would have been nice to request t-shirt sizes when buying the tickets. They didn't have many sizes left and had to hunt for one in my size.

My husband, my son, and myself went through the Eleventh Hour. Both the haunted houses were great. Much effort was put in to the detail and that made it even more fun, interesting, and scary. The corn maze was a waste of time; nothing happened but walking between corn in the dark.

The RIP pass saved us a great deal of "waiting around" time.

The corn maze was really lame.

There were three sections to the Haunted House. We had some good scares, but this was not the best haunted house I've ever been to. Typically people in charge of the lines forming are in character and try to scare you, but these people were just boring, everyday people.

Okay, but would not return or recommend.

I was not impressed. There was a lot more scare factor that could of been put into this. There was no one in the corn maze, nothing really all that scary about the house or he catacombs. They send you through in huge groups so unless ur the first in the line you don't really even get any one jumping out to scare you. I would of been really upset if I had bought full price tickets. This would be great to take a 10 or 11 year old child too.

You can tell that the production of this haunted house lacked a lot of funding. The claim of 4 haunted houses is not really justified because two of them are really only dark rooms/mazes. DO NOT GO in the RAIN. Parts of all the haunted houses are outside and you will get soaked while walking through mud puddles. Also, there wasn't a line so the "RIP" pass really didn't do anything and we saved about $3 at best with this ticket.

A group of 7 of us, ranging in age from 17 to 43, attended this event and had a blast! There was no need to pay extra for "RIP" access, there were no lines to pass. We had dinner at Thornwood's first, just a few blocks away and it was fantastic! My compliments to the chef, Jason, and our wonderful server, Michelle.

This is one of the better haunted houses. It was fun and scary, but not too scary. At one point, you're lost in total darkness and have to find your way out; that was the most fun, disconcerting, and scary-- just not being able to see and having to rely on your senses. We hit a lot of walls in the darkness. Some aspects of it reminded me of the old "Riverview." My son is in a wheelchair and the owners were so thoughtful and accommodating; he loves haunted houses and often they are not accessible. The down side was much of the flooring in the haunted houses are gravel, and it was difficult maneuvering; however, they have an a medic who kept popping in and out to make sure that we were ok and to help with the chair. In fact, he offered to push it.

This is a great haunted house. Nothing super scary but what makes this a great time is the actors. In the corn maze they keep it fun, love the realtor at the house, Bubbles and the clown at the entrance to the big top. Need handles for the elevator ride...were flats!

A lot has improved since last year. One thing to note: wear shoes you can walk/run in as the creepies keep you moving at a pretty good clip throughout the 3 sequential haunted houses. The corn maze is fun and you won't get lost because again, the monsters direct you out of dead ends (and keep you moving through!). Fun interaction, some pretty good visuals and all in all, a good time. Probably fine for kids 10 and over. Don't really know--I don't have them. And there weren't many there the night we visited.

I brought my son and four of his friends (age11) they loved it. However, a few opted out after the first house they were so scared and later a few of them wanted to go back in. They loved the corn stalk maze and the people working there were great actors and friendly when talking to my younger son who was a little afraid. I highly recommend going.

The scare level was just enough for my 10 year old daughter's first haunted house experience. Each haunt had unique elements and even us adults enjoyed it. I recommend it - it won't give you nightmares, but you will appreciate the theatrical work that went into this event. I did feel that we were rushed a bit through the haunts even though it wasn't crowded at all.

I loved this haunted house last year, and this year I went on opening night and was kind of disappointed. The corn maze was way better than last year definitely more scares and the first house was also great with many actors. The second house was ok in my opinion, hardly any actors and basically was just walking around in the dark. The last house was the maze and while they did make it better than last year it was still just ok, hardly any scares and while my friend and I were trying to find our way out in the strobe light room a worker with a ladder started working on a light right in front of us, totally ruined the mood. Maybe it was opening night kinks that needed to be worked out but I was just glad I had gotten a discount through Goldstar.

I enjoyed every moment of this haunted house. I was laughing so hard due to the anticipation of the next person to come out and scare me. It always kept me on my feet. A big plus was that there was just on one haunted house but 3 plus a corn maze. The people who worked the event were dressed really well and make up was very well painted. I would definitely recommend it the others to attend it next year.

The haunted corn maze was ok, but the haunted houses once you got past the first ones were terrible. The last two were just dark and loud mazes with no one to really scare you at all. We just kept running into other groups that were also lost in the haunted house. My group did not like it.

Scary and worthwhile getting the RIP passes through Goldstar. We went in a shorter line to get tickets at the entrance and into the first house after the corn maze. A lot of the scares were from many cast members running up and going boo. In the second and third houses it was very dark with did provide some thrills. The craziest part was the use of strobe lights. We were mostly confused by it but made for quite an experience getting through the obstacles and out.

Terrible from start to finish. The extra $ for the RIP pass was pointless because the RIP line was longer than the regular line, and you ended up in a long line with everyone else between the first and second houses. Many missed opportunities for a scare, due to obvious lack of staffing. Very disorganized-- we weren't even sure when we were done. "Is that it? I only remember two houses, not three." The worst haunted house I've ever been to. Not scary, not funny, not entertaining. Avoid.

I liked this haunted house. The corn maze was pretty good. The only thing is that I was smacked in the face a bunch of times with the corn. The maze was good. The haunted houses were pretty good too, but I thought there would be more actors. It was still an awesome haunted house to attend! I had fun though. I got lost in the last haunted house because you could barely see since it was pitch black. They didn't have as many actors as I thought they would have. It was more scary because of the dark.

Uh, best haunted house I've ever been to: I like the creepy-follow-you-around ghostly folks, whacked-out things in dark corners, a bizzarre maze with strobes and surprise. That corn field left something to be desired, but the rest of it was creepy; and I like creepy. Eleventh Hour Haunted House comes without all those silly special effects that have gotten boring at other houses. This one is was a great find.

The haunted house was small, the performers were underwhelming, and the production value felt lower than what we'd expect from a house that goes for retail $35. The actors were really not into it. They didn't jump out at us, or try for a good scare, just sort of stood around, followed us a little and left it at that. The rooms felt small, and were not well lit/laid out. We went to Disturbia afterwards and had a much better time. I would not go here again, and I would not recommend it to others.

Need to improve on the corn maze. Started somewhat weak once in the actual "house" yet definitely picked up by the end of the second event going into the 3rd and 4th one. Crossing the bridge with spinning lights was awesome. Catacombs true to detail from ones I visited in Italy. Finding your way through a pitchblack maze was an unexpected yet very welcome surprise. Good music selection for each house event. Definitely worth the Goldstar price. Would definitely go through it again.

Went to this Haunted House last year for the first time and it was probably the best I'd been to (and I have a friend who loves a good haunted house so we see a lot of them every season). This year was also top notch: not a bad ghoul in the batch. Really nice attendants, great actors who enjoy what they're doing and do it well, and the longest event (when you put the three haunted houses together) I've come across makes this a top notch Halloween treat. PS: The corn maze, while not particularly huge (compared to those out in the country), is done really well and has a lot of laughs along the way!!!

It was very spooky!! I didn't like the last house because number one it was just to dark and I got lost with my boyfriend in that maze of darkness.. There were other people in there trying to figure the way out also. Think it was cool but in a way not safe! There was a creepy man in there don't think he was part of any group. He cornered me in and tumbled on me! I know he was not part of show... We finally exited from a door that we weren't supposed to.. Just didn't feel safe in there! Other then the creeper it was a cool experience.

We went on a weeknight and although there were not many actors, this was a really, really well done haunted house. Not only did it have three incredible mazes: corn maze, "catacombs", and the "tunnel of terror", but the macabre house itself was staged incredibly well. There were numerous rooms made to look like as if it was an old home long ago abandanded and in disrepair. Not the scariest haunted house but definitely worth the trip!

Eleventh Hour Haunted House was fun. We went with a group of 8 people and spent a lot of the time laughing. The overall atomosphere of the haunted house was spooky, but the number of monsters was lacking. At one point, I went ahead of my group to scare them. Overall, I give the haunted house a 6/10 because there were a total of four attractions, and we got discount tickets. I think it is more appropriate for younger kids. If you are looking for a scary haunted house for adults, this is not the place.

VERY scary haunted house with a mini-corn maze you go through right before it. I don't know that there were "4 separate attractions" like they list in the offer, but it was well worth the money. The staff was scary when they should have been, and polite and accomodating if they weren't working within the house. All in all a great time.

Great haunted house. To start your experience you are sent through a corn maze. The decor inside the 2haunted houses are top notch. There are lots of surprises inside. There is a great maze inside 2. The best part of this haunted house is that you are sent through it in small groups.

Great attention to detail - all of the actors enhanced the experience. We arrived early so parking was easy. RIP pass was perfect to bypass the lines.

It was a great event. The second and thrid houses sort of seemed like one house but were in fact seperated. Loved the lights in the third! The corn maze in the begining was alright though it wasnt scary and i thought there were two mazes and we only were taken through one. Overall it was a good value!

4 events in one although you can't tell the difference between the end of the haunted house and the beginning of the catacombs and then the chain link/pitch black thing. But the corn maze was fun (if you're tall, it's no good because the corn isn't much over 6 feet tall), the haunted house had some good aspects but was short on interaction/actors throughout most of it. The catacombs were well put together and reminiscent of the catacombs in Paris. The final maze/aspect had us in circles forever and running into other lost groups. Not scary but frustrating and fun! Worth it at a discount and probably full price. No RIP line when we went which was caused us to wait in line longer than we bargained for.

Eleventh Hour was very well designed, and they did a great job of spacing guests out. We actually got lost a couple of times, which was scary. They have four attractions, and each was unique. It took us about an hour to make our way through the entire thing. Our only complaint was that there weren't enough people working. There were only a few "monsters" sprinkled throughout the mazes. This could be a strategy, because we were definitely shocked when people did jump out at us -- and it was better than having people scream in your face for 20 straight minutes (Yeah, I'm looking at you Statesville). On the other hand, it seemed like there were some missed opportunities to really scare folks. I wouldn't be suprised if they had more people working later in the season, so you might get lucky. Recommended!

It was the best haunted experience we have had in the US. My husband and I had fun and screamed our heads off. My two teenagers refused to go in (even thought we had purchased tix for them), and they stayed in the car. We had one of the actors creep up to the car and scare them. Even though our teens suspected we might do something like that, they screamed their heads off. We caught it on our phone video and have been enjoying it ever since. They may or may not forgive us (smile). If you use GPS the location is not exact. Look for the brightly lit sign with the lit arrow to go in. We passed it a few times because the Elventh Hour sign was not well lit. Pull in where the Garden Center sign is lit up.

We spent more time in the corn maze than expected, got lost, couldn't get out. That was the highlight.

The intro man in the lobby was good... That was the last good thing I can say. Not enough monsters, to much time between scenes. I hope this changes as the season picks up but we felt like we walked most of the way without seeing anything that would scare us.

Pass.

There were four of us in our group and we have gone to different haunted houses over the past couple years. We enjoyed Eleventh Hour very much. I liked that there were 4 different areas to explore, so you had different levels of entertainment with each area having good parts and ok parts. The weather was great, not too cold and no rain. Would not recommend going in rainy weather because a couple of the areas are exposed to the elements. Not super scary, but very entertaining. Loved the elevator and tunnel in the shed area. I would definelty go again and recommend to others who like this kind of thing.

I enjoyed almost everything about this haunt. We got there just after dusk and made our way into the corn maze. It was just dark enough to get us turned around alot, but, not too dark to make us feel closed in. The first house, the Insane Asylum was great. The actors didn't scream at you, but, instead, creeped you out. The second house, the coal mine, was just as good.

My only problem with the haunt was the Tunnel of Terror. The strobe was so intense that I started getting very dizzy and sick to my stomach.

But, I would go again in a heartbeat. I would just pass on the Tunnel.

They definitely need MORE employees to liven things up... I am paying you to scare me - so DO it already!! There was so much down time. Some of it was REALLY boring. You just walked your self around in circles in the dark.... That being said, there was a small part near the end that was pretty creepy with the fog and the strobe lighting.. However - they could certainly learn a thing or five from Statesville Haunted Prison in Crest Hill....

It was awesome!!!!! I haven't been to a haunted house in a while and this was super fun!!!!! The best parts are when you are completely alone and lost in the place! The spinning thing is was my favorite! What a trip! I am still convinced that I was upside down at one point! If you go in this ready to have fun and laugh and be scared, you will have a fantastic time! It took us about 40 minutes to get through the whole thing, which is allot longer than most haunted houses. AND the fresh made apple cider is amazing, have some!

If it's a chilly evening remember to wear something warm cause most of the waiting in lines is outdoors. We waited 15 to 20 minutes in between "hauntings". Be very, very careful in the darkened rooms. My son walked into a metal pole and nearly broke his nose. When the "ghouls" saw his blood, they did hurry him out. Everyone was very kind and offered to get an ambulance or whatever he needed. They even gave him 2 free tickets to come back again. Just be careful!!

If you only do one haunted house this season - do Eleventh Hour!

Though it was a little difficult to find because the sign was not lit (look for the Garden Center sign & that is the haunted house), this was well-worth the search!

There are 3 haunted houses and 1 corn maze. If you are bringing children, would only recommend corn maze. For everyone else - do the whole gamit! This was a haunted house created by people who like haunted houses. The sets are creepy and really well made. The actors are creepy and interactive (no touching, but they talk to you). The story lines set a great ambiance and being that there were so many different stages, you basically get the entire spectrum of what would scare. Honestly, I've been to many haunted houses around the country and this ranks in the top 2!

Also, try the caramel apple with sprinkles - a good post-scare treat.

I loved this Haunted House! We went on the first night it opened and didn't have to wait in any line. Not all the staff was present that night so they gacve us free vouchers to go another night! We started off going into the Corn maze and took at least 15 minutes to get out of there and were scared several times in there. The first haunted house was entertaining and fun but not super scary. The second one was scarier and memorable. The best part was the fence maze. It was frightful, lasted a long time to get out of it, and somewhat dangerous (makes it funner). We ran through the area and crashed several times into the nearly invisible gates and other patrons because of the heavy artificial fog. It is well worth going to again. Watch out for the truck! ;)

Eleventh Hour was OK. It was mroe predictible than I like. They didn't do the best job of controlling the lines so that you didn't run into the group in front of you. There were lots of missed opportunities to scare us. I just kenw that something was going to happen and then it didn't so I was disappointed. The ending was cool with the guy with the chainsaw. Now that was scary. The corn maze was pretty cool. Overall, it wasn't as good as when I went a few years ago, but it was OK for the real scardy cats. For pros like me who for some reason enjoy being scared crazy, you have to do a lot more to get a ear piercing scream out.

this was a great haunted house. some of it could have been scarier, sure, but all-in-all it was a great time. the atmosphere was well set up. the most lame part was the corn maze, but that was the first part four total, so it definitely got better. this was a great deal as well. the RIP pass got us to the front of the line. i recommend checking this out.

7 of us went. Age range 25 to 35. I've been to haunted houses in the past and they were pretty much a short tour and disappointment. I have to say that we really enjoyed 11th hour. First of all, the entire experience was appx. 1hr so worth the time and money. The scare tactics and actors were quite good. Most of us were mostly startled rather than scared. One of the women in our group was literally terrified.
Overall a good experience.

They had some great opportunities to scare us in the dark rooms and I think that fell a bit short. Most of the people screamed at us when they jumped out and I think that could have been more subtle too. They had some good scares, but felt that we spent $40 for an hour that was okay, could have been better.

We had a great time. I really liked not having to wait in line....we went on a Sunday evening and there was a good crowd - the VIP pass was worth it. The corn maze wasn't too bad, it was a good warm-up before going in the houses. The houses were very creative and full of surprises, such as walls that move, a spinning tunnel and a staff that loves to scare!!! Overall, I thought it was great and worth the price...definitely would go again!

This attraction was truly awesome. I attended it with some friends (nine in total) recently (Oct. 2010). The haunted house was fun and really elaborate. The actors were really funny and we had a blast interacting with them. Pitch Black and Intensity had to be my most favorite two out of the four, although the house itself was entertaining as well. The corn maze got a little frustrating after a bit, but was a releif once we were out finally. All in all, the entire event took up about an hour, even though it seemed to go by quicker. Totally worth the $20.

Best Haunted House yet!!! Well worth the entry fee (cheaper through Goldstar) as you first go through a haunted corn maze, then to a haunted house with 4 floors and then to a haunted shed; well over an hour to get through it all. The Eleventh Hour Haunted House is very high tech and with lots of neat things; a must of all Halloween lovers (but don't bring little kids). If you love a great scare go here.

enjoyable, went in a group of people (guys and girls)- the girls ended up holding hands the entire way while walking in a line. - You go through a maze first, then let the person who directs you to the line know that you have the VIP pass, and cutting through long line wait for the haunted house was WELL worth it- it's total of 3 haunted houses- 1 single, and 2 attached to each other, plus maze-

It was fun to have 4 haunted venues in one location. It was great to have tickets for half price because it felt the value was a little more in line. The first attraction was a "haunted" corn maze. However throughout the entire thing I only saw 2 "monsters" and it was not that scary.

After the maze we entered the first haunted house and go to by-pass the line because these tickets include VIP line. This saved us time in picking up tickets and skipped the line for the houses! This was excellent and a huge plus for me!

The 3 haunted venues that followed had some pretty creative rooms and scary monsters. However, I felt at times it was lacking in staff and had some lost opportunities to scare us with some lulls of activity.

Overall, I thought it was a great value and I enjoyed my time!

It was a fun time. It wasn't super scary, but my friends and I had a blast. Especially in the maze. I had never gone through a chain-link fence maze before, but it was probably the best kind of maze becuase it was hard to see where the opening was and we even got turned around once. So much fun. :)

I had a great time at Eleventh Hour and at the price who can beat it. The corn maze was ok we were directed by an actor and got out quick which really was a bummer was hoping to get lost in it. But the haunted house was so much fun. Some actors did jump out at us one of the houses noone was in which was ok. The dark room was soo much fun to get lost in. I would do it again at the price I got. There was 7 of us which made it even better.

The corn maze was not scary, but we followed a couple that might have skipped part of it. The 3 haunted houses that followed were good. The first one was not great...it was not very dark...the actors were sort of silly instead of frightening...would have been better if they just jumped out at you as opposed to put on a little skit. The last two haunted houses were very creative & scary. I would recommend this event. No need to prepurchase tickets....no lines & it was Halloween night.

after the drive, money and expectations the end result was anticlimactic and weak. there were only empty rooms and corners, not many people working, sad scene. especially in comparison to chronicles haunted house. thumbs way down..
