Singer-songwriter Frankie Ballard brings the breakthrough hit "Helluva Life" from his brand-new album Sunshine & Whiskey to the House of Blues, courtesy of KSON Radio. Ballard's self-titled debut album was released in 2011 to critical acclaim, and spawned two radio hits: "Tell Me You Get Lonely" and "A Buncha Girls." Since then, he's shared the stage with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and Bob Seger, gaining fans with his live chops and an upbeat, rock-tinged sound that's drawn comparisons to John Mellencamp's early classics. The Brodie Stewart Band opens the show. Learn More

There is a feeling that Russian composers are telling stories, not just to convey information, but to unburden themselves — to reflect on the human condition as it existed in their time. Mussorgsky's 'Pictures at an Exhibition', Tchaikovsky's 'Souvenir de Florence' and Stravinsky's 'Rag Time' illustrate this idea. The Hutchins Consort Artistic Director Joe McNalley creates a program of Russian music that invites you to travel through places in time, just as the composers intended.
