Rodgers and Hammerstein's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece about a romantic rivalry on the Western frontier boasts a collection of classic songs and a spirit that's made it an enduring favorite. The story of the lovely Laurey and her two determined suitors -- Curly the cowboy and Jud the hired farmhand -- also tackles the class issues between farmers and cattlemen in the rugged landscape of a new state. The show boasts such Broadway favorites as "Oh What a Beautiful Mornin'," "People Will Say We're in Love," "The Surrey with the Fringe on Top" and the exuberant title song. This brilliant first collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein set box-office records as it ushered in the golden age of American musical theater. Learn More

Big cast of 11 on stage. Enjoyed the show! This is a "Radio Drama" but there's a surprising amount to see on stage as the actors not only lend their voices to their characters, but their stage-presence to their characters as well. Close your eyes and you'll imagine a bigger cast -- but then you'll miss all that's happening on-stage.

Really terrific and innovative performance of this oldie but goody. The actor with the lead role of George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart in the movie)is an amazing likeness in looks, voice, and mannerisms.
