Description

CYC Theatre, recently voted San Diego’s “Best Theatre Group” on Channel 10’s A-List Awards, presents the edgy Broadway musical, SPRING AWAKENING at the Welk Resort Theatre in Escondido. Based on the controversial book of the same title, this new musical explores the confusion and desperation that ensues when the onrushing tide of hormones meets the ignorance of children raised by parents too embarrassed or prudish to discuss what those new urges signify. A rock-infused score played by a live, on-stage band sets off this exhilarating show directed by Shaun T. Evans

_*This production contains mature language and subject matter. It is not recommended for children. _
