Members Who Went Said:yes yes
Marla Jonah Smith was excellent. Voice reminiscent of a cross between Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. (S.P.A.C.E.) Venue atmosphere was unique and welcoming. Sound staff for S.P.A.C.E. was poor and slow to mix things and correct sound issues. However artist Jonah rolled with the punches and had a great sense of humor about things. It is obvious that Jonah has star quality and we all will probably be seeing his star rise. |

More Details About This Event: Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter/piano Jonah Smith has a penchant for twinkling jazz and country crooning. Jonah’s folk songs are equally well suited to downtown lounges and rural front porches, and his languid, easy vocals and hard not to fall in love with. Join him for an intimate show at SPACE in Evanston, also featuring the Kyle Mann Combo.
