Hailed by Bon Appetit as “legendary,” Splichal has compiled a stable of restaurants, special event sites and city landmarks to showcase his innovative talents to the public and couples from coast to coast in need of wedding help.
The Patina Bride is a one-day event that allows the discerning bride-to-be to experience not only the Walt Disney Concert Hall, but all of the 18 Southern California venues Splichal has to offer. There will be a guided tour of the elaborate property, where couples will see ideas for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, brunches and receptions. With stunning settings, private rooms and customized menus, Patina Catering offers hassle-free planning for engaged couples at all of their locations. At the end of the guided tour of this architectural marvel, guests will enjoy the playful yet elegant menu tastings of Patina Catering, and experience cutting-edge wedding trends firsthand.
The Bridal Bar, a special-events resource gallery dedicated to giving complimentary event assistance and vendor recommendations, has compiled an extensive group of event professionals and invited them to participate, based upon their styles, reputations, and commitment to excellence. At the top of their industries, more than 30 event companies will be displaying their wares and portfolios.
Couples will see designs by Kirstie Kelly, a couture bridal designer who has graced the pages of nearly every bridal publication in print. Grooms can talk shop with celebrity vendors such as Robert Evans Studios, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding photographer, who will be featuring his latest work. Couples can see streaming video from Kevin Costner’s videographer, Docuvitae Photography & Super 8. Guests can see floral arrangements designed by florist-to-the-stars Tic Tock Couture Florals while listening to the beats and sounds of Red Shoe Productions and indulging in cake by the celebrity pastry chefs at Fantasy Frostings.
