Jim Broshu did an incredible job bringing to life a complex man. I had no preconceived idea of what to expect, and experienced one of the best theatrical productions I have ever seen. The script was intelligently written. The performance was impecable. Jim Broshu had wonderful timing and could move you from laughter to tears in moments, smoothly and seamlessly.Written on Aug 28 2006
I would love to recommend this play to my friends, but unfortunately I caught the final performance. Jim Broshu's performance really should be filmed and shown on PBS.
Interestingly, I was talking to one of my neighbors and she started to tell me about a wonderful play she had seen the day before. It turned out, she was talking about this show. She saw the matinee; I was at the evening performance.
Thank you, Goldstar, for including this show in your selection. I would never have known about it otherwise.
