The City of Angels will leave its halo at home as the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport is transformed into Sin City for Drink:Eat:Play’s “Vegas in LA,” complete with food and wine tastings, an international wine bar, VIP Lounge, DJ Fivestar and a grand Vegas-style casino featuring more than 40 tables of blackjack, craps, roulette and poker. This night of tasty debauchery is sponsored by CozmoCard, the premier dining and shopping card for Angelenos, in association with OpenTable and LA.com. Lady Luck is swingin' through Santa Monica tonight!
For the casino portion of the event, play money will be used. At the end of the night, attendees can turn in the play money for rafflle tickets for various prizes. The more money, the more raffle tickets, and thus a higher chance of winning dinner passes, musuem memberships, etc.
