Mysterious beastly footprints drive a town into a frenzy of gossip and mayhem in Abominable, a new dramatic play by Helen Hayes Award nominee Helen Pafumi. Meanwhile, local teenager Sam finds himself grappling with some troubling physical changes that feel more than just hormonal -- they feel, well, inhuman. As Sam's mother tries to figure out what is up with her son, the footprints keep coming, and the community's panic and terror simmers harder. What will happen when it reaches the boiling point? Find out at The Hub Theatre's world premiere of Abominable, directed by documentary filmmaker Kirsten Kelly. Learn More

At check-in, the Sunday matinee audience was warned about chilly temperatures in the theatre space. Yet, we found ourselves warmed by the variety of emotions portrayed in different story lines. The actors nimbly switched from character to character, and poured themselves into the scenes. Particularly enjoyed the clever use of the sound track (water and music) that added great feeling to each scene and tied them all together nicely.
