A five-time Latin Grammy winner, who picked up his latest in 2013 for the album Soy Flamenco, famed guitar master Tomatito brings his flamenco-jazz sextet to Lisner Auditorium. Known for his abundant stage charisma and impeccable musical technique -- not to mention his long, wavy locks -- Tomatito accompanied Camarón de la Isla for two decades until the legendary flamenco singer's death in 1992. The man born as José Fernández Torres has also collaborated with artists as varied as Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Chick Corea and more. Experience an artist the Miami Herald declared "one of Spain's greatest guitarists." Learn More

I knew he would put a great show and I was not disappointed at all. He sang sooo many songs. It was a hassle getting to GMU because of all the traffic backed up on Braddock Road and then by the time we got into the parking area, it was another 20 minutes before we could get to a parking lot on the other side of the campus. Then it was a 20 minute walk to the Patriot Center which we had to ask several times where it was. There weren't any signs that were posted - that we easily noticed. The area wasn't very well lit. We left Falls Church at 7:00 and got onto the property at 8:00 an into the building at 8:40.....He came on at 8:45.
There were other events going on at the Center for Performing Arts that took up alot of parking.
