More Details About This Event:

The whitewater trip passes by the historic town of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, where Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia come together. Experience exciting class I-III whitewater (depending on water levels) on the Potomac River. The trip lasts one to three hours (about two hours on average). Tubing trips are provided by River Riders.

Schedule
10:45am: Check in at the bus at Vienna metro
11:00am: Bus departs
12:45pm: Arrive at tubing location, check in and head to the water
1:15pm: The group should be in the water (the length of time spent on the water depends on whether the group stops for swimming or lunch, etc.)
4:00pm: Out of the water and heading back home
5:30pm: Back at Vienna metro

The group may or may not go out to dinner following arrival back at Vienna, which is totally optional -- this will be played by ear.

Price includes: Upgraded PVC (vinyl) good tubes, life vests, "cooler tubes" and round-trip transportation

Bring your own: Coolers, lunches, towels, sunscreen, etc. (note: the bus is BYOB)

What to wear: Swimsuits or anything you don't mind getting wet!

Four local friends pooled together some money and sought out to supply a safe, fun and cheap alternative for their friends. They had always enjoyed attending concerts, games and nights out on the town but disliked the hassles that go hand-in-hand with such activities—traffic, parking and worrying about designated drivers.
