My friend never saw South Pacific, and she thoroughly enjoyed the performance, as did I. I read book, and saw movie, long time ago. Music was wonderful.

The music is gorgeous and the singers were superb. Staging was well done. A wonderful revival of a classic musical.

The beloved score’s songs include “Some Enchanted Evening,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair,” “This Nearly Was Mine” and “There is Nothin’ Like a Dame.” USA Today cheers, “Four Stars! Gorgeous! South Pacific doesn’t just float; it soars!”
