Jerry Herman's Broadway musical comedy boasts one of the most beloved theatrical characters ever created -- the irrepressible Auntie Mame, the free-spirited bohemian who suddenly finds herself the guardian of her late brother's son in 1920s New York. Despite the challenges of the Depression, Mame manages to share her joie de vivre with her young nephew through a series of setbacks and adventures. The show's score includes such memorable numbers as "Open A New Window," "We Need A Little Christmas," "You're My Best Girl," "Bosom Buddies" and, of course, the beloved title song. Angela Lansbury gained fame and won the first of her record-tying five Tony Awards when she starred in the original. This Hillbarn Theatre production comes as part of its 73rd season. Learn More

My friends and I had the best time at Dial M for Murder. Great production and exellent acting all around. My favorite scene was between Tony Wendice and Captain Lesgate because the two actors played so exceptionally well off each other. I highly recommend this show!

About the Ticket Supplier: Hillbarn Theatre
Hillbarn Theatre boasts a seventy-two-year long history in the San Francisco Bay Area. Beginning as Peninsula Little Theatre in 1934, Hillbarn performed in school auditoriums, under the direction of Robert Brauns, as part of the College of San Mateo Adult Education Program. Hillbarn's founders, Brauns, Sam Rolph and Ralph Schram took the name "Hillbarn" from two outdoor summers at a barn on a hill on the Belmont-San Mateo border. At this site, the traditions of free intermission coffee and a courtyard bonfire were born.
