A tribute to Mr. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. What better way to celebrate the greatest spy series than with drinks, theme songs, Bond girls, and burlesque? Inspired by the opening title sequences of the Bond films, The Burlesque of Bond is a visually rich production featuring beautiful dancers, in lavish attire, underscored by a live orchestra. The kind of entertainment found in the showrooms of Las Vegas--without the nudity.

Peter Morgan's Tony Award-nominated play that spawned the critically acclaimed 2006 film pits jet-setting British TV talk-show host David Frost against disgraced former president Richard Nixon in a battle of wits and wills. Desperate to regain his slipped standing as a serious journalist, Frost seeks to elicit from the Watergate-plagued Nixon a detailed explanation and apology, while the ever-political former president has his own agenda. This fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the famous 1977 series of interviews dissects the electrifying battle between Nixon and Frost, revealing both mens insecurities, ego and sense of dignity as they face off in a historic encounter that ultimately changes them both. The first half of the show was presented in a Burlesque style and was fairly well done.

The second half of the show was mostly average level dance productions not Burlesque.

The best part of the whole production was the comedy and comedic antics of the two secret service agents who performed at the beginning and between stage production numbers.

Overall, my wife and I were disappointed with the value we received.

It's like watching the opening credits of the Bond movies played out live, with dancers, audio-visual effects, a 10 piece band, and two singers covering all the bases. Two actors playing secret agents fill in between the production numbers with entertaining comedy bits. Nicely done and extremely so for a small theater company.

The Goldstar tickets are seats in the back, not at the tables which we didn't care for. I was expecting a cheesy event and was in line with what our expectations were. For a Bond event was expecting martinis to be available, but only beer and wine. If you want to laugh and have low expectations you will be ok.

the dancing was not very good, the band OK, girls were not very pretty, and for the Goldstar tickets they added seats without tables in the back. because the show was not sold out we moved to an empty table but was disappointed that they segregated the seats this way.
