Donald Margulies' Pulitzer Prize-winning Dinner With Friends hits the OC stage in this STAGEStheatre production. Gabe and Karen, a happily married couple, have been friends for decades with Tom and Beth, also married. Everything changes when Beth reveals that Tom has been unfaithful and their marriage is on the verge of imploding. The story is not the divorce, however, but the shockwave effect it has on Gabe and Karen's relationship. At first they feel forced to pick sides, then they begin to notice the cracks in their own marriage. This funny, poignant comic drama exposes the insecurities that everyone faces when big changes happen in their lives. The characters are real and relatable -- they might be your friends, your family or they might even be you. Margulies holds a mirror up to the modern relationship and asks us to think about our own relationships and what we're doing to keep them strong. Learn More

I'd highly recommend it to people of all ages, as there is something for everyone, including humor, drama, singing, romance and even some creative jingles.
All of the actors did an excellent job presenting this wonderfully touching radio version of the holiday movie classic.
My personal standouts were the actors who played the 4 main leads, George Bailey, Clarence, Mary and Potter.
My friend was "captivated" by seeing it in this radio play format and was impressed with both the versatility of the multiple-role actors as well as the vast array of sound effects that were produced.
Despite these hectic days I suggest you don't miss seeing this play in this intimate and friendly theater. It will definitely put you in the holiday spirit while reminding you of some of the more important things in life.
