Staged Cinema Productions brings back their original adaptation of George Romero's cult classic Night of the Living Dead, one of the scariest movies of all time. A group of panicked survivors are barricaded in a deserted farmhouse while an army of flesh-eating zombies hovers outside their door. After the show's success last year, the theater has brought it back from the dead, restaging the revival for its 6th Halloween season.

In this Pulitzer and Tony-nominated comedy by Craig Lucas, a whirlwind romance and marriage takes a startling turn when an mysterious old man congratulates the bride with a kiss. With this kiss, Rita (the bride) and the man have what could be described as a Twilight Zone moment that sends Rita and her would-be husband on a mysterious journey, as they test the true strength of their love, beyond the surface connections that first drew them to one another. Prelude to a Kiss was commissioned and originally staged by South Coast Repertory in January 1988. The play later went on to Broadway and was made into a feature film starring Alec Baldwin and Meg Ryan. Staged Cinema Productions' performance of the play is directed by David Chorley. Learn More

this was an excellent show. the make up on the actors was awesome and the stage is literally right in front of you. very nice staff. what was also great is the chance to take pictures with the actors before and after the show and talk to them, all really down to earth and happy to chat. an excellent experience, great show. loved how they made you feel part of the show. will definately see again, with new people if possible, just to see their reactions.

The play was incredible in all aspects from casting to sets!! I will have to attend every year now! The maverick should be proud of themselves... they have completely exceeded any expectations I had. And what an exclusive privilege too to see the very first screening of "The Dead"!!
A must see!

I like the fact that the theater is small, and we are so close to the stage. The show was very entertaining. There are parts that are funny, and parts that make you jump out of your seats. It’s very entertaining, and we love the ending. I don’t want to say too much about the show to give the fun away. But I highly recommend this show if you like a little Halloween zombie fun.
