Members Who Went Said:This is our second time around with the OCUBS and I have to say that we had a great time. This is more of a conventional burlesque show. A lot of fun. Not to Serious. A group of women that just want to have a good time!!!
Carmen Fantastic Fun This was my first time going and i wasn't expecting very much. I really enjoyed the show. They exceeded my expectations. It was really fun and silly. The atmosphere was great; not too serious or immature. I would like to go again. The only probably was there is very limited seating so get there early!
ANNETTE Funny and Hot! Great Burlesque, and the women were so body positive and normal. :)

More Details About This Event: The Orange County Underground Burlesque Society was founded in 2006 by Kate Fox. Fascinated by the "New Burlesque" revival and full to the brim with ideas for sexy dance numbers, satirical sketches, and siren songs, Kate set about looking for a venue in which to showcase her ideas. When she caught wind that the Hunger Artists Theatre Co. was looking for a late night show, she jumped on the opportunity to put a new burlesque show on their stage. After recruiting a group of the sexiest, smartest, silliest girls she knew, the Orange County Underground Burlesque Society was born! Now, this group of broads has made it their mission to entertain you and your friends with monthly "theme" shows that will knock your socks off with great music, witty dance routines, and parodies galore. Fun for the whole family (18 and over)!
February 2008 line-up The February show features OCUBS founding members Mona Lott, Lili White, Lacy Bottom, Kate Fox, Billie Jean, and Bella Nottee, plus supersexy guest stars Ruby Roulette and Veronica Vixxx. Don't miss it! About Hunger Artists Theatre Company: Founded in 1996 by a group of longtime friends, The Hunger Artists Theatre Company is the first Orange County-based alternative theater to grow out of Orange Coast College's Repertory Theater. While at Coast, the future members of The Hunger Artists honed their craft as actors, directors, playwrights and technicians, while developing the hip, smart, irreverent attitude and subversive theatrical sensibility that would later earn them notice as one of the county's most adventurous and unpredictable small theater companies. |
