An excellent presentation. It was the first time I had seen the play and I was a little confused about what was going on for awhile, but of course it all sorted itself out. First a warning. If you are sensitive to near nudity, do not see this show. My wife and I nearly walked out due too much clothing being removed. Now that is out of the way, you may have noticed I gave "Prelude" a 5-star rating (this is only the second or third I've given). I've never seen the movie, did not know what to expect. We were glad we didn't leave because this production was unbelievable!! All the actors really hit the mark tonight!Written on Jan 28 2012

Thoroughly enjoyed this event. The actors were professional, witty and entertaining. All the seats have a great view. The venue is small, but very connected to the stage. The feel is more like being at a restaurant (tables, chairs as opposed to rows of seats and a small bar on the end).Written on Feb 15 2012

The production was well done--we had a very enjoyable evening. The Maverick always does an excellent job, in our experience. But we didn't find the lead's portrayal to be altogether convincing. It seemed too much like he was acting, if that makes sense. Consequently we never got completely lost in the story.Written on Feb 06 2012

Description
Prelude to a Kiss by Craig Lucas is a quirky romantic dramedy. A young couple, Peter and Rita, who meet at a friend's party and hit it off. After a short time they decide to take the big leap, but what they didn’t plan for was what happens at their wedding.
