In the tradition of classic beach party films such as Gidget, Muscle Beach Party and Beach Blanket Bingo, this production of Charles Busch's spoof follows Chicklet Forrest, a teenage tomboy with a split personality disorder. Although she desperately wants to be in with the Malibu Beach scene, he alter egos keep getting in her way. Among them are an elderly radio talk show hostess, a male model and the accounting firm of Edelman and Edelman. Her most dangerous personality is the sexually aggressive Ann Bowman, who wants no less than world domination. Busch's 1987 script brings to life the chaos that we all wanted to see erupt from an innocent Frankie and Annette summer movie.
