You can help solve a shocking murder mystery in this fun, crowd-pleasing whodunnit full of war-weary G.I.s, lusty Rio de Janeiro residents and plenty of twists and turns. While preparing for the spectacle of a 1940s Carnival, a local dictator's henchman searches for his love-starved wife amidst the throbbing pulse of the samba. Meanwhile, undercover Allied secret agents comb the crowds on the lookout for a murderously sadistic German officer desperately fleeing through the throngs of costumed dancing revelers. It isn't long before blood is shed and bodies start to fall. One lucky sleuth in the audience has a chance to solve the crime and win a prize in this colorful Staged Cinema production. Learn More
Quotes & Highlights

He’s a strange visitor from another world with powers and abilities far beyond that of mortal men. Our yellow sun makes him faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Superman is the basis for all super heroes and certainly the longest lasting in our history. His exploits, adventures and phenomenal powers are legendary and his costume is one of the most recognizable icons of American civilization.
Now the 1969 Broadway sensation It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, it’s SUPERMAN! is being revived in a co-production of the Insurgo Theater Movement and the Maverick Theater. This will be the first local public production of this show in almost 20 years!
