I loved the show!! It was hysterically funny, the actors were fabulous, the theater is great. I'll definitely look for more "gems" like this at The Maverick.

Some of the humor was a little raunchy, but it was still entertaining.

Thought the three guys doing the performance were outstanding. Very funny! I know next to nothing about Shakespeare, but now I know a little. Maybe a little skewed though.

Venue small and intimate -- sound system was blaring and annoying at times.

It was way too over the top to remain funny for long; a lot of times it was just plain silly. However, there were some hysterical scenes, like when Hamlet meets Ophelia at a strip club.

I saw this show four years ago when the Maverick was located in The Block at Orange. LOVED IT!
Despite an interesting set and good actors, this production needed a major shot of adrenalin. The performances were energetic, but not the breakneck speed that the script demands. I was very disappointed. However, those seated around me seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The production was really funny. Having said that, by boyfriend was not as big a fan of Shakespeare as I and he did not enjoy it as much.
